MONDRIAN INSPIRED FALL LEAFS
BIG IDEA: (WHAT) I can create a Fall inspired composition using block coloring techniques in the style of Piet Mondrian
KEY KNOWLEDGE: (WHY)
Students get an advanced understanding of color, the creation of artwork, and the physics of sight while exploring the theory of making 3-D holographic art. Anaglyph 3-D glasses create 3-D stereoscopic images when viewing the 4 posters based on images by Klee, Matise, and Kandinsky's works. Students study the results of color placement and learn to create their own effective 3-D images.
